this quilt is from the 1940’s or 50’s and made of layers of cotton fabric joined by tiny hand sewn stitches

the top side of the quilt is comprised of blue/green plaids and stripes plus a large piece of salmon pink along with a few small random print patches

hand embroidery in green, pink, grey and black

back of quilt is a muddy green-grey which highlights the bright pink and other embroidery colors

the beauty of this quilt is the way it has aged and worn away in places

it is still sturdy and solid enough to be used as a blanket or throw
